Emilio Botts is a storyteller, healer, and explorer of life’s deeper meanings. Born and raised in the Washington D.C. metro area, Emilio draws from his diverse life experiences and rich cultural roots as a Dominican and African American to weave tales that inspire self-discovery and personal transformation. As a person with a passion for music and percussion, Emilio believes in the rhythm of connection—whether through music, storytelling, or the wisdom of nature.

His commitment to holistic medicine and the healing arts led him to become a trained energy healer, certified hypnotist, and an ICF-certified life coach, guiding others to find their purpose and manifest more. A seeker at heart, Emilio’s journey has taken him across the country and the world, exploring different cultures and environments to better understand his own path. As an AmeriCorps alum and Florida International University alumnus, he has devoted much of his life’s work to service and growth.

When he’s not writing, you can find Emilio savoring a new dish, tending to his garden, Latin dancing, or finding inspiration in the tranquility of nature. Through his work, Emilio hopes to remind others of their imaginations’ visionary power to manifest the life they dream of and the importance of finding a nurturing environment—the right soil—to grow into our best selves.
